Mikoto was your average 16 year old Japanese high school student in an all boys high school and, despite having pink coloured hair not very out of the ordinary. That was of course if you ignored his quite unusual role as one of the school's princesses but he was not really one to brag about this anyway. Albeit he was against inheriting that role, he still did it because of the benefits it brought with it. And recently, he had come to notice that his girlfriend found it quite fascinating. He had to admit that he did not know why she liked seeing him dressed in dresses, but he supposed it had to do with her special condition in a way.

Megumi was not an average girl. When he first met her at the age of 14, she was already 17 and a good friend of his sister as well as his father's patient. He knew, from the start, that Megumi had been born male once and decided then due to some occasions that she wanted to be female. The fact alone, that she once was of the same gender as him did not bother him because she was a female to him. Their awkwardness and shyness certainly helped them quite a lot to progress to something akin friends and later more. They had been together now for two years. And every day was exciting.
Mikoto certainly did not mind when it was Megumi taking the lead in the few kisses they shared, yet he came to notice that she time and again, not often but still happening, gave in to his attempts of taking over their kiss. It was exciting to him to explore all of the romantic and intimate things together with her. It was his first relationship with a girl, as it was for Megumi the first time as a female to share with a boy.
That Megumi was already 19 did not matter to either of them. They had all the time in the world to grow comfortable with each other and no one was rushing them into things. They explored each other in their own pace and he had to admit that every day in his life spent with Megumi like this was perfect.
