Day 8 - Tell your life story from someone else’s point of view.



Manuel/JinSang (OC) → drabble || romance, g


I knew, from the first day that they had seen each other, that a deep attraction connected them. It didn't seem to bother at all, that Manuel did not speak a single word of Korean or that JinSang had no idea of the German language. It was their luck, obviously, that they both spoke decent English for conversation.

And of course they still had me for translation, but surely they did not need my help. Manu was smitten with JinSang from the start, and of course he did not try to hide it. Much to JinSang's embarrassment. The poor him, grown up in a country were same sex relationships were looked down upon to a high level he of course feared to stand up to his sexuality. I knew, at the way his eyes had always found their way to Manuel, that he harboured feelings for my best friend.

It was sweet to be able to witness how JinSang grew comfortable around Manu, not just in his feelings which he soon knew both shared for one another, but also in his sexuality. I was hopeful, that for the year JinSang would spend with us in Germany as an exchange student, the two of them would fall into a circle of love deeper than I could have ever imagined.
