It was a Saturday morning when Ueno sat in the open kitchen of his apartment and scanned through the job offerings of the weekend's issue of the newspaper. He really needed a new part-time job ever since he gave up on his former position as a pet sitter.

He sighed deeply. He really missed that job greatly. But thinking about his last time sitting a pet, and the very unconventional meeting with Aki through it, let him all but sigh. He really didn't need any more surprises like these. Sad though, that he would not be able to take care of all the puppies and kitties anymore.

Turning another page of the job offerings, Ueno let his eyes settle onto a new pet sitter ad. He sighed. A pair of arms wrapping around his neck pulled the student out of his reverie. Turning his head a little to the side he found a mop of greyish-violet coloured hair infiltrating his eyes.

“Good morning,” Aki chimed with a low voice into his ear and Ueno had to suppress a shudder. The other really got under his skin quite too easily. Proof be told, Aki had spent the former night at Ueno's place and not just for a sleepover.

“Morning,” Ueno mumbled and sighed a little when Aki buried his face in his neck and let his lips nip a little at the soft skin.

“Searching for a part-time job again?” the slightly smaller male asked and let his chin rest on Ueno's shoulder when he looked at the newspaper.

Ueno cleared his throat and tried to suppress the flush creeping onto his cheeks whilst leaning a little back into the warmth Aki's body provided. “Yeah. I really could need the money,” he muttered and was about to close the paper when Aki's nimble finger came into his view and traced the offer for a pet sitter.

“You could pick it up again, you know,” he breathed and circled Ueno's figure to settle down onto his lap. He wore nothing but one of Ueno's dress shirts and it was barely able to cover his creamy thighs, let alone his ass. “I'm sure you will not stumble upon another rabbit like me,” he mused with a teasing smile and Ueno had to chuckle a little at that before Aki stole a chaste kiss from his lips.

Ueno did not know how it happened or why it happened so fast for them to become a real couple, but he certainly thanked his former job for the opportunity to meet Aki. Albeit it had been very unconventional and unique.
