Day 20 - If you could go on only one more vacation in your lifetime, where would you go and why?

Six years. It had been six years since Hiroki and Nowaki had been together, that was if you counted that one year Nowaki had spent in America, and Hiroki still felt a little shy around his lover. He just couldn't help it. He loved Nowaki, truly did, but he found it embarrassing to show his emotions.

The only time where Hiroki did not feel too shy to show a little affection for Nowaki, was when they happened to be at a place where not a single soul knew of them. It so happened that for their anniversary Nowaki had planned their first trip as a couple. And the younger was silent about where they were going as well. All Hiroki knew, they were going to fly and he should prepare something a little warmer.

Hiroki wasn't really one for surprises, but this one left him uncharacteristically giddy and excited. He lay fully awake next to a snoring Nowaki. Their vacation started tomorrow and Hiroki just couldn't stop thinking. More than once he tossed and turned next to Nowaki and was lucky enough that the taller seemed to be in a very deep slumber.

“Hiro-san,” Nowaki breathed and Hiroki halted his turning. So much for Nowaki sleeping. Nowaki's eyes opened slightly and the deep blue of his irises focused onto him. Hiroki gulped and muttered an almost inaudible, “Sorry.”

Hiroki flushed in the darkness when he made out a beautiful smile stretching over Nowaki's lips. The younger man extracted a hand and let his fingers glide gently over Hiroki's cheek. “Can't sleep?” he slurred sleepily and Hiroki let his head fall into his pillow whilst shaking his head.

“Why don't you just tell me where we're flying to?” Hiroki muttered and hovered a little over Nowaki to look at him. Nowaki was sure that his eyes were still very much sleep-laden because sure enough, Kamijou Hiroki did not pout.

Nowaki sighed when he turned onto his back and cupped Hiroki's cheek with his right palm. “It'd spoil the surprise,” he breathed with closed eyes whilst his palm caressed gently along the warm flesh of Hiroki's flushed cheek.

“Nowaki,” Hiroki meant to hiss, but to Nowaki's ears it sounded like an adorable whine. It drew another smile onto Nowaki's lips before he gave in, “Fine. We're flying to Sweden.”

Hiroki's heart was summersaulting and his lips parted in awe. Just once had he told Nowaki how much he wanted to visit this country. Just once, in a passing moment. He shifted a little closer to Nowaki and hovered close above the younger's face. Nowaki's breath was evening out already and he knew that he was drowsing. He pecked Nowaki's lips softly and smiled genuinely down at Nowaki when his eyelids fluttered open.

“Thank you,” he breathed and, albeit he did it rarely, kissed Nowaki tenderly. It did not take long for him to be pressed against Nowaki's bare chest, let alone for Nowaki to take over the lead in their kiss. But tonight he did not mind; he never did. Nowaki was always the best in taking the lead anyway.
