Day 10 - What do you want to be remembered for?
Obito/Kakashi (Naruto: Kakashi Gaiden) → drabble || drama, character death, pg
(I still need to catch up with the manga because Obito ;;♥ I'm stuck somewhere when Jiraya dies. x'D)
He couldn't forget this incident. He never would be able to. Not in this life. Every day the reminder of that fateful day would stare back at him. And the memory was still fresh.
Barely a month lay between now and the day that his friend - his best friend, he knew - had sacrificed his life to save his own. And the only reminder he had left, was Obito's sharingan that had replaced his own shattered left eye.
Kakashi sighed when he traced the healed cut that now graced the left side of his face. He already missed Obito's character that was so much different from his own. But he had learned from Obito. And he promised himself, that he would live the life his best friend was not able to and he would it the way Obito would have liked him to.
He owed it to him. After all, he was alive and Obito was gone.
